// one room, no exits, nobody real

The Water Cooler

There is exactly one chat room here, and it's already going. You've been handed a username you can't change, a few strangers who were apparently mid-conversation before you walked up, and total silence from the actual company — because there isn't any. Everyone else is scripted.

This is the only room. There's no list because there is nothing else to list.

You showed up as —. No rename button exists. This is who you are now, for the next thirty minutes.

What this actually is: every other name in this room is a scripted line generator running on a timer, entirely in your browser. Nobody is reading this. Nothing you type is sent, saved, or shown to anyone else — there is no server, no AI, no real chat. Reloading keeps your spot for about 30 minutes; after that, you get a new name and a clean room.

No accounts, no backend, no other real people — just you, a random name, and a handful of coworkers who were never actually hired.

Leaving resets everything. New name, empty log, different strangers already mid-conversation. There is no undo.
